Higher education student and staff mobility project

Louis Armand Paris High School encourages students of its 4 higher National Diplomas, Digital Systems, Electrical Engineering, IT Services to organizations, Management of Business Units to participate in a mobility placement abroad will allow them to successfully complete their training course outgoing into the system with a diploma, helping them to develop a personal project optimizing their chance to find a job or further education. This popular school of the Paris 15th arrondissement welcomes 800 students from about 300 students mostly from disadvantaged social classes and ages 18 to 23 years. One hundred teachers and non-teaching personnel supervise the education and training of these students. For 6 years, the Louis Armand High School strengthens its internationalization strategy and is becoming increasingly involved in the personal mobility of students and sees an increase in the same way the number of mobility of pupils, students and staff. The mobility culture is far removed from the main concern of Parisian students who for the most part, although Fellows, hold part-time jobs or more to meet their needs. It is thus very difficult to convince them to release two full months to go to immerse themselves in an internship abroad. Students from francophone African cultures are the most mobile of the institution and are mostly those who decide to participate in mobility. As part of this project, four students and one teacher participated in the internship mobility ERASMUS + in several European countries: Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, United Kingdom. The experience of mobility as easily opens to students the field of further education abroad for which the Louis Armand high school has developed 5partnerships primarily with Britain. The teaching mission established during this project has made several changes in high school at the same time it allowed the promotion of culture and the French language with 2 classes of Spanish Master. It has enabled to open doors to Spain by expanding the number of partners, a university in Valencia and 2 high schools to date with the placement of two students in companies for two months work placements. Experience of the colleague who participated in the mobility generated greater mobilization high school personal for the development of mobility for all students. The academic advisor for European action which is also the project director of mobility to higher education now offers its expertise in the management of European projects in Europe and International Service of the rectorat de Paris. This project allowed Louis Armand High School to maintain and confirm its commitment to mobility training for students and staff abroad under the Erasmus+ program but also to the promotion of European citizenship. The mobility of students receive recognition using ECTS integrated in the Diploma Supplement, Europass mobility, OLS language certificate. Better knowledge of the Erasmus+ program and the expertise of Louis Armand high school led him to potentially support projects for the European opening of various kinds but also to stimulate and lead the network of higher technical sections of the district to reach a larger number of students.
