The completed projects are as following: - Student mobility for studies - Student mobility for traineeship - Staff mobility for teaching - Staff mobility for training Context: The mobility projects are a formative feature of the internationalization strategies of the FH Kufstein. Background of the project: The FH Kufstein has 174 partner universities worldwide. It is a part of a global university network to meet the high demand on mobility activities in higher education. Objectives (Student mobility for studies): - to expand the academic, social and cultural skills of the students; - to promote internationality, mobility and multiculturalism strategies to the students Objectives (Student mobility for traineeship): - Improving the knowledge, skills and language skills; - development of intercultural competences and increase the career opportunities in the European and international labor market. Objectives (Staff mobility for teaching): - Acquisition of new teaching methods and extension of professional, language and intercultural skills; - Expansion and enrichment of the curriculum of the respective universities; Objectives (Staff mobility for training): - Enlargement of mobility experiences, enrichment of the knowledge and skills and exchange of a new and many working methods; The number and type / profile of participants: Anzahl und Typ / Profil der Teilnehmer Studierendenmobilität: Incoming 103 Outgoing 99 Lehrendenmobilität: Incoming 4 Outgoing 3 Personalmobilität: Incoming 1 Profile of the participants: The profile of the students: - The students meet the language proficiency and academic requirements for an Erasmus study abroad; - The integration of study abroad is implemented into the curriculum of the recent study program at the home university. The credit transfer from abroad is guaranteed. Profile of students for placements: Students have achieved their academic requirements before starting their placement and fulfill the reference to their major field of study program. The profile of the Staff for teaching: The teachers are experienced to fulfill the academic requirements in order to comply the courses of the curriculum with international elements. The profile of the staff for training: The staff has experience related to a specific field, cultural and linguistic competence and is qualified for the Erasmus mobility activity. Description of the activities: 1. Student mobility for studies (outgoing & incoming): The major support includes administrative and organizational preparation for the academic program abroad. The compliance with the quality assurance of the planning, organization, implementation and evaluation were considered and implemented by the FH Kufstein. 2. Student mobility for traineeship: Students have fulfilled the academic qualifications and the course achievement before the start of the internship. The internship must have a reference for study focus of the respective degree program. 3. Staff mobility for teaching (outgoing & incoming): The FH Kufstein promotes knowledge transfer with administrative and organizational arrangements and is committed to enlarge the teaching staff mobility. 4. Staff mobility for training: The FH Kufstein supports staff mobility for training at European universities, thus making a major contribution to highlighting the European dimension. Results and impact of the projects: Results: Student mobility (outgoing and incoming): 99 outgoing students and 103 incoming students. Student traineeship: In the summer semester 2014/115 have successfully completed their traineeship. Staff mobility for teaching: Outgoing: BBA INSEEC, Bordeaux, France; BBA INSEEC, Lyon, France; Hogeschool Zuyd, Heerlen, The Netherlands Incoming: Zuyd University, Netherlands Hogeschool Inholland, Netherlands University of the Free State, South Africa Staff mobility for training: Incoming: Buckinghamshire New University, UK Results implications for the students: - Improving language skills within Europe and also through participation in the linguistic support and increase intercultural understanding of students; Results and implications for staff mobility: - The professional exchange was promoted and their own skills were invigorated; - Know-how and experience for intercultural at higher education were strongly promoted. The long term benefits for the mobility activities are: - Development and extension of the European dimension and intercultural competences in higher education and promote scientific exchange and language skills; - Improve their employability and career prospects for mobility participants; - At European level, the mobility participants experience their cultural diversity and develop a kind of better feeling for being a citizen of Europe.
