Higher education student and staff mobility project

Salesian School of Palma del Río is a vocational/technical college placed in Palma del Río (Córdoba, SPAIN). We have around 300 students in vocational training and we offer intermediate and advance vocational training courses in several areas such as Mechanics, Electricity, Administration, Marketing, Application Development, Electricity and Electronics. We are certified with the 0162/06 ISO Quality Standard Certification. Due to the demand of our students and our teachers and the success on previous projects, we would like to include some students and/or teachers who are taking courses in “Administration, Economics & Finances”, or “Industrial Automation and Robotics”. We would like to send them for a trainnig period by Erasmus+. Aims For students: - Conduct a formative work experience to improve the theoretical knowledge with the work experience for 3 months in a different country where they are studying - Achieve compliance with their learning outcomes, productive training activities and intern evaluation to overcome the practical subject “Formación en Centros de Trabajo” (“On the Job Training) - Improve educational quality and training of students in Formación Profesional” (“Higher Vocational”) - Promote employability and job skills of students For the institution and the staff - Promote entrepreneurship, creativity, innovation and the use of different languages - Increase agreements with companies and institutions, beyond mobility: preparatory visits, information exchange, processes, machinery, etc. - Give the opportunity to students and teachers to enrich their professionality and academic level with the experience of living and working in another country and culture - Manage and increase the relationships between the partner companies and our School. Propose to the Directives the formalization of training new collaboration agreements. - Promote contacts with companies in order to adapt the training in our School, to the training needs of these ones, and stay up to date the technological evolution and innovation - Enable all teachers an updated from business in the regional and international context Number and profile of participants - SMP Number: 0 Profile: Students of Higher Vocational “Higher Technician in Administration and Finance” and “Higher Technician in Industrial Automation and Robotics” - STT Number: 1 Profile: Teacher in Higher Vocational Male, 28 years old Three years old in the Center Level: B2 in English (FCE) Degree in “Law”, “Administration and Management”, “Titled Higher Music, Piano” Host institution The Bournemoyth and Poole College Private institution of secondary and high level education with multiple educational specialities. Bournemouth, UK Description of the activities carried out: - SMP: All necessary steps were taken to carry out the mobility (selection of students, interviews, publication of results, etc). As the date approached displacement, students star to have some doubts and although from the center we tried to encourage them, finally none of them got to make the mobilities granted - STT DAY 1 : Travel to and accommodation at hotel DAY 2: Arrival and presentation of the components of the host institution. Farewell (Friday 26/June/2015) General English (am) DAY 7: Return Trip Results and benefits in a long term - SMP: In spite of not making any mobility, the experience has served to better planning for the mobility realization, for the call of 2015. It has stressed the positive aspects that it assumes the realization of training abroad, in a personal and laboral level - STT: Adaptation of teaching and learning techniques modeled on the UK education system. Application of different techniques of teaching Business subjects and commercial topics in an multicultural environment. Learning from analysis of Marketing and Business in English, as the main language around the world.
