Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The ERSMUS+ project represents an important tool for UNINT in order to pursue its process of internationalization aiming at an enhanced knowledge of the European Union as whole and at the integration in the European context. Students’, staff and teaching mobility between UNINT and European partner universities constitutes a milestone to achieve this objective. 37 agreements have been signed with universities privileging tuition in the fields of languages, culture and society as well as those offering specific lectures in mediation, translation and interpreting. Hence, special attention has been given to universities focusing on linguistics, cultural, political, economic and social sciences. Outgoing students have improved their linguistic competences and have gained enhanced independence, self-esteem, maturity, adaptability to new cultural and studying environments, intellectual curiosity, ability to criticize as well as consciousness to be part of a multicultural and European society. The student’s development of their individual creativity has been also stimulated. All these represent basic requirements for entering the today’s labour market. Additionally, UNINT university has facilitated the hosting of incoming students from partner universities. Teaching mobility has been promoted by UNINT in order to improve didactical quality by signing 10 new agreements recently and by perpetuating consolidated contact with partner universities. This project aimed at developing and enhancing interdisciplinary and international research through knowledge exchange. In order to improve efficiency of the university’s organizational and information system, to facilitate administrative procedures and to guarantee the quality of services and infrastructures, providing hence an better service to students, staff mobility has been promoted. This opportunity aimed at providing UNINT technical and administrative staff with improved knowledge of potential more efficient and effective work practices in place at partner universities.
