Higher education student and staff mobility project

The Sued Nord Consortium, belonging to Associazione Donne per Roma, has been working as a facilitator for activities regarding the mobility of students and staff belonging to different institutes as Academy, Conservatory, Higher Education High Schools and in order to strengthen the opportunities for the mobility and to facilitate the organizational work of the represented institutes. The Sued Nord Consortium has the aim to create better opportunities of mobility for the participating institutions and develop the activities of the traineeship mobilities for students in order to give both students and staff the possibility to realize a practical training, in fact students can enlarge their theoretical knowledge thanks to practical experience and staff can update their competences, furthermore it is of paramount importance to create new relationships in an European context and increase the networking at international level. All partners represent small institutes, even the University of Roma Tre which is a huge University in Rome participates at the Consortium activities giving the mandate to the coordinator just for traineeships regarding students of the Master in Linguaggi del Turismo e Comunicazione Interculturale and for staff mobilities. Students are very eager to improve their knowledge abroad as trainees in the field of Culture applied to Tourism, Music, Arts and Foreign Languages or to have an academic experience in a partner university abroad. In fact, nowadays in the academic dimension studying abroad is an indispensable part of the higher education and if it includes, as it is thanks to the Erasmus Plus mobility, the practice and the improvement of foreign languages, it becomes a goal of utmost importance for the labour market. The total number of the participants is 56: Accademia delle Belle Arti di Macerata: 6 students for traineeship belonging to the first cycle of studies worked on different artistic project supported both by teachers from the Cluj Napoca Academy and by experts artists. 5 staff for both teaching and traineeship, some of them had the opportunity to carry out several mobilities in different EU-Programme Countries also visiting institutions for updating their competences and enlarge their knowledge. SSML Gregorio VII: 10 students for study belonging to the first cycle attended 3 months or more during the academic year at partner universities of SSML Gregorio VII obtaining the foreseen ECTS. 4 students for traineeship worked as translators and interpreters in the linguistic mediation for communication in different organizations mostly in the private sector. Two of the above mentioned trainees was a student who had completed the first cycle and could take part at the mobility thank the new rules given by the new Erasmus Plus Programme (traineeship within the12 months after the end of the cycle). 4 staff for both teaching and traineeship, some of them had the opportunity to carry out several mobilities in different EU-Programme Countries also visiting institutions for updating their competences and enlarge their knowledge. Università degli Studi Roma Tre: 5 students for traineeship belonging to the second cycle of studies of studies worked in tourist organizations in Europe at different level practicing the competences acquired during the course of studies, 4 of them at the end of the course and one during the academic year. Three out of four students who have already got the degree and attended the traineeship abroad received a fixed-term-contract. 4 staff staff for both teaching and traineeship, some of them had the opportunity to carry out several mobilities in different EU-Programme Countries also visiting institutions for updating their competences and enlarging their knowledge. Conservatorio Scontrino di Trapani: 4 staff mobilities for traineeship in different EU-Programme Countries also visiting institutions for updating their competences and enlarge their knowledge. Associazione Donne per Roma: 2 staff mobilities for traineeship in different EU-Programme Countries also visiting institutions for updating their competences, enlarge their knowledge and monitoring the students activities.
