Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Internationalization is at the core of the strategy of ENSTA ParisTech. The institution has anchored its ambitious and voluntarist policy and actions on the development of strong international partnerships. Students must spend at least 12 weeks abroad during their curriculum to obtain their diploma, and the mean duration of this outgoing mobility is actually in constant progress each year, with European countries being the main destinations. The ambition of the institution is currently to have 20% of our students spending at least one semester abroad during their studies at ENSTA ParisTech. In order to reach this goal, appropriate orientation measures have been set up. For the academic year 2014-2015, we estimated the following number for outgoing mobility: 35 Student Mobility for Studies (SMS), 7 Student Mobility Placements (SMP), 5 Staff Mobility for Teaching (STA) and 2 Staff Mobility for Training (STT). The final number of mobility undertaken was 36 total, with 14 SMS, 21 SMP and 1 STA. The outgoing mobility students have split between period of studies and internships, together with a raising number of partner universities taking part in our periods of mobility, which strengthens our partnerships while increasing the diversity of destinations (Germany, Austria, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Sweden...).
