The Haute Ecole Louvain en Hainaut ? HELHa is a higher education institution providing bachelor and Master degrees in seven study areas: agronomy, applied arts, business, nursing, teacher training, social work and technology. There are more than 9,000 students and HELHa has taken part in the Erasmus programme since the early days of the programme. It has obtained the Extended Erasmus Charter and organizes the different mobility types: SMS, SMP, STA and STT. The strategic plan of the institution includes a chapter dedicated to the students? mobility, its staff and the internationalisation of its programmes: reinforcement and setting up of the requested structures needed to organise mobility opportunities during the study course programme. Some course programmes are more inclined to accepting student mobility than other, even if every student can count on a fair and equal treatment: information, selection, follow-up, financial support, reports, evaluation, validation and academic recognition. In 2014-2015, 18 students did a mobility for study purpose, 44 did a mobility for training purpose and 20 staff members achieved a STA or STT mission in Europe. Training mobilities mostly take place in partner companies, as most of our course programmes have a vocational aim. It fosters our future graduates a better employability. Our student and staff mobility is not restrained to Europe: Belgica mobility, FAME and other short term mobilities all over the world.
