Katowice Institute of Information Technologies was founded in 2003 as a private higher educational institution. The long-term objective of our Institute is to become a leading Centre providing high-level educational services. We share a commitment to high quality teaching and providing opportunities for industrial training to prepare students for entering the ever-changing job market and pursuing advanced professional careers. In current global market no institution can concentrate on training student for local needs only. Therefore, our top priority is to take part in European programs, facilitating diversified education and exposing students to multicultural environment in which they will likely work. Our strategy is to become gradually involved in European programs and develop our own initiatives aimed at increasing international cooperation. We encourage our undergraduate students to take part in the Programme, either studying at the Partner University (two students-mobility completed in 0%) or working within the framework of industrial placements (one student- mobility completed in 100%). Our Institute encourages and support staff mobility as well (one teacher - mobility completed in 0% and one academic staff - mobility completed in 100%). International activities and collaborations are part of staff personal development programme. Behind all activities concerning international cooperation there is a fundamental assumption that it should benefit all parties involved. Therefore, our Institution makes its best efforts to ensure that all students and staff participating in the cooperation are at the highest possible academic and organizational level and all activities are undertaken in accordance with current formal regulations. Katowice Institute of Information Technologies wants to strengthen cooperation with companies from abroad by inviting their representatives to gathering of employers.
