Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

This completed project has enabled us to send out three teaching staff members to teach abroad four times in the field of Religion and Theology (0221), thereby fulfilling the strategy of Örebro School of Theology is to increase the international experience of all of the faculty members through the Erasmus programme for staff mobility. The teaching staff represent both junior and senior faculty members but unfortunately all our male. We will therefore in particular encourage female staff to get this experience in the future. In this project, the teaching assignments have been in the context of a cooperation between our institution and Angar Teologiske Høgskole (Kristiansand, Norway) on the Master's study level. This is particularly valuable since our institution only offer first-cycle education and Bachelor degree in Sweden, which means that this project gives the participants an opportunity to teach at a higher level than they can at our institution. The completed project has met our general objectives to enhance the language and teaching skills of the participants and to give them academic input and broaden their professional perspective. Further, these teaching assignments have enabled our institution to uphold the relationship with the foreign institution and continue to develop the cooperation, specifically a master course in Theology to which we have been able to recruit several of our own former students.
