Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Internationalization seen as a way to valorize cultural diversity and to promote European citizenship has always been part of the University's vision. UCL has taken part in the various mobility programs launched by the EU from the very beginning. The university's engagement in the Erasmus + program aims at strengthening its internationalization strategy. This strategy is based on Internationalization at home, as a way to introduce the whole university community to international et intercultural awareness (internationalization of the curriculum, courses offered in English, emphasis put on intercultural training for almost all the students) as well as the promotion of study or internships abroad for a growing number of students (562 students in 2013-2014 and 675 in 2014-2015, ie an increase of 20%), facilitation of teaching and staff mobility (+16%), development of the number of Master programs taught in English or in the Framework of a joint degree. Becoming even more attractive and making our programs more accessible and understandable for international students is also an important target. We hope to meet it by working on a communication strategy aimed at the international students and by strengthening the network of existing partners in Europe and as well as on other continents.
