Higher education student and staff mobility project

The project was performed in Petroleum-Gas of Ploiesti. The project lasted 16 months during the period 1.06.2014-30.09.2015. The mobilities proposed number performed was: 13 mobilities SMS (Student mobility for studies between Programme Countries) with an average term of 5 months, 1 SMP(Student mobility for traineeships between Programme Countries) mobility , 13 mobilities STA (Staff mobility for teaching between Programme Countries) with a 5-days, one type STT (Staff mobility for training between Programme Countries) mobility. Mobile number achieved was 11 mobilities SMS with total duration of 52 months, 25 extradays , 1 SMP (Student mobility for traineeships between Programme Countries) mobility, 11 STA mobilities with a total duration of 60 days; one type STT mobility with a duration of 6 days. The partners involved were: Rouen University (F ROUEN01) MONT AIGNAN CEDEX France, Ljubliana Univeristy (SI LJUBLJAN01) SLOVENIA, Vigo University (E VIGO01) VIGO PONTEVEDRA, Spain, Castilla-La Mancha University (E CIUDA-RO01), CIUDAD REAL, Spain, Pamukkale University (TRDENIZLI01), Denizli Turkey, WIM BOSMAN NL s?Heerenberg Netherlands. Staff mobility grants for Erasmus mobility are provided as teaching activities. Students during the development mobilities had subsequently recognized courses and laboratories in the country through the Diploma Supplement. During mobilities they were effectively operated the educational resources. The project objectives were divided in two directions: Specific objectives for placement students mobility and also specific objectives for university staff involved in teaching and training activity for the students. The teaching and trainig mobility objectives lead to intensification of cooperation at European level, implementing through common actions new teaching methods, the develop of common directions research, thus improving the quality of teaching and in the same time stimulating teacher training in language learning. The cooperation with partners universities lead to an extend of implementing quality standards, Petroleum and Gas University of Ploiesti offering assistance to one of the partner as Turkey, in application of quality standards of higher education.The compatibility of project objectives reported at students mobility was between studied disciplines in the mobility period and their personal development needs. Concentrated on improving language skills and performances through develop of initiative spirit and adapting of European requirements through their better learning. The intership placement allowed a increasing of labor quality and also the activities during the period of study.During the program, three phases will be observed: before the mobility, during the mobility and after mobility.The first step in the project will be the selection of the participants. The information for the selection will be made by information seminars made on the beginning of the academic year and also during the semester, seminars about study domains and individual assistance achieved both at faculties and institutional. The host institution will use the personal mobility for forming a group which establish for the students of partner institution the selection criteria for the mobility. The criteria include: academic performance, previous experience mobility, motivation and knowledge of culture and language of the host institution and also the activity plan (Phd, staff). In case of equivalence, the preference will be applied on the students coming from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. The host institution supports the students selected with visa application, travel, accommodation and insurance problems. The selected students will follow a language course before the mobility. It was used the most efficient work methods in order to required a large range of cognitive and practice activities to design creative solutions for abstract issues. Within the placement mobility have been developed high specialized skills from a certain work or study field as base for an original research and also for the competences from different domains. The academic staff was motivated in professional development direction, in achieving efficient collaborations through scientific cooperation realized by the end of mobility period. Mentoring and tutoring was classic and also virtual through the on-line communications.The Erasmus project was an improvement tool of university management and also of quality development in Petroleum and Gas University of Ploiesti.Based on experience in the project were developed new strategies to continue the project by using good practices exchanges and also new teaching methods adapted to the European requirements. The continuation of collaborations initiated in the project lead to increasing of bilateral agreement number and also of international visibility of Petroleum and Gas University of Ploiesti.
