Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

During 2014/15 the number of outgoing students decreased, due also to the fact that there wasn't the option to go to UK, one of their favourite destinations. Our partner, the University of Salford, could not accept any students from our Italy, because the Italian and Portuguese languages had their last cohort of final years during the previous academic year. This also had a negative influence on the incoming student mobilities. The year before (2013-14) we had 5 incoming students only from Salford University (Manchester). This academic year we haven't registered any incoming students yet. It's the Academic Registry, in particular the Erasmus Coordination, that give information about the Erasmus Mobility. This academic year we had an outgoing student mobility (Heidelberg, Germany), a placement mobility (Malta) and a teaching mobility (Heidelberg, Germany). The most important goal was the student’s improvement in their linguistic competence and knowledge. But they have also acquired a wider prospective to consider their study and future work, also seen in an international context. Moreover the students that have done an Erasmus project experience often show a more constructive attitude when they come back to ordinary academic activity.
