In our school, this grant is for students of higher education, but not in university. Our students follow a two-year curriculum called BTS (equivalent of BTEC) specialised in International Trade. This section has been rooted in our school since 1973 and was remodelled in 2007. So far, mobility is concerning 8-week work placements in foreign countries, which are compulsory for our students. In this context, we offer our students a work placement exchange with higher education schools which offer a similar curriculum in international trade. Hence, we have had contacts since 2009 with Spanish schools. We also belong to the network called Netinvet and within this network we have connections with two Catalunian partners: IES Marianao of Sant Boi de Llobregat and IES Provençana of Hospitalet de Llobregat. This can explain why out of 19 students beneficiary, 12 went to Spain this year. Our students come from various socio-professional backgrounds, but for a majority, the Erasmus grant is necessary to stay abroad for two months. It is them our goal to help a majority of students. This is why we have chosen to grant them the minimum funding in order to help the majority. We have also decided to transfer 50% of the organisation grant to the students placement grant.
