Osmaniye Korkut Ata University is one of the youngest and dynamic university which was establieshed in 2007 as a state university. Since it was established, it gives big importance for internalisation at home for various reasons. As a rapidly growing university, it has been located in its new and modern campus with the number of nearly 15.000 students. This rapid change and development is also maintained with including and participating in different exchange programmes which enables to students and staff to study or work in an international platform and gain practical skills and professional experience. In this frame; Erasmus + has a big important place in Osmaniye Korkut Ata University. Since 2011, the number of outgoing student and staff has increased year by year with a full perfomance in using the budget effectively. So far, Osmaniye Korkut Ata University has never refund grant back on the other hand more student and staff has been utilized in the programme then the number of the participants declared in the contract. Here the aim is not to send much participants to abroad in any way, it is to performed well-qualified and fully respected the rules released by European Commission. During the Academic Year 2014- 2015; OKÜ was supposed to send 38 participants in the frame of Erasmus + according to the contract but OKÜ completed the project with the number of 51 participants. Briefly; it shows the internationalisation and its impact in the institution. Profile of the students participated in the programme are generaly occurred from all different cysles and nearly equal numbers from different departments. Profile of the staff, both in academic and administrative, are also composed of different departments and faculties. As the IRO, here we can see that the penetration of the programme through university. We can say that; different departments can benefit from the program equally. This is what we care during the elaboration and delegation period. Besides the sending part of the programme, we are actively involved in accepting student and staff from our partner universities. We try to make fruitful cooperations and to maintain and develop our partnership with common projects fro the near future. In this frame; first of all we applied for a Higher Education Consortium in 2014 with the universities in our region ( Mediterranean ). It was one of our projects to gain experience in this field. In the near future; we plan to increase the number of our project partnerships and gain more experience. As the world gets more global, we try to expand our partnersip borders more and do exchange ideas. To see the results and impact of the programme; we have developed some institutional mechanisms to follow our students before and after Erasmus Mobility. Before the mobility, as OKÜ we offer intensive English language courses for the exchange students which will help students while they are abroad in many aspects like communication, adaptation and respect to other cultures, expressing himself freely and making the process more meaningful and fruitful for the students. OKÜ has many projects that are carried out so far. In each project is an opportunity for us to see our weak and strong sides. In this frame; Erasmus + is also a good point for each university to compare, see and evaluate themselves with different perspectives. We belive that; both in the short term and long term period; students and staff will have the positive impact of the exchange programmes and they will contribute a lot first of all for the humanity, academic fields, cultural tolerance, individual development and more important world peace.
