Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Learning mobility opportunities aim to encourage the mobility of students, recent graduates, professors and staff, The role of the International Office in this process is to organize these opportunities for individuals. The benefits for the participating organization equally include an increased capacity to operate at an international level, improve management skills, access to more funding opportunities and projects, increased ability to prepare, manage, and follow-up projects, a more attractive portfolio of opportunities for students and staff at participating organizations, the opportunity to develop innovative projects. International Office offers the opportunity to send students and staff abroad (in other Programme countries) to study, teach, train at participating institutions as well as to participate in a traineeship in a organization. The study activities offered to students have to be part of the student's study programme, while the activities offered to student trainees should also be integrated into the trainee's study programme. Sending and receiving organizations, as well as the student and staff member must sign a Learning Agreement before the start of the activities. The activities of staff sent abroad should be agreed on, in advance, by both the individual's sending organization and the receiving organization. All parties to the mobility activity must sign a Mobility Agreement. VERN’ also hosts incoming students and staff from partner institutions. The main object is to send and receive students so they can learn and gain training at partner institution. That way they will gain new knowledge, gain experience, meet new cultures. That way students that are involved in Erasmus+ programme take part in mobility and become a part of EU and International dimension. Professors and staff members have a chance to work or teach at partner institution at that way see and share other working practices. All included in Erasmus+ participants had a chance to rise and improve their level of competences, skill, language level. After coming from mobility period they shared their experiences with other VERN’ members. When we look at the numbers a total of 18 SMS (female 13, male 5), 5 SMP (female 3, male 2), 5 STA (female 3, male 2) and 4 STT (female 3, male 4)mobility’s took place. To make that happened VERN’ International Office signed inter-institutional agreements so that mobility could happened. Info days were organized so that all VERN’ students, professors and staff can get all the necessary information. That final result was that more motilities were achieved then the number granted and all project funds were spent. Number of partnerships was risen. With larger number of partnership more students arrived at VERN’. New lectures for incoming students were organized and may were added to the course catalog. Incoming students were integrated with Croatian students in classrooms. We can with safety say Erasmus+ K103 project influenced VERN’ University to expand international dimension of development. At this point we can say that taking part in Erasmus+ K103 project helped VERN’ to better organize international capacitates. VERN’ is more capable to organize lectures and filed classes for incoming students and staff member.
