Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

International cooperation is one of the most important goals for the KORE University of Enna, which has a variety of relationships with foreign Universities and Institutions, especially in Europe regarding the Erasmus+ Programme, whose aim is to develop joint research and educational activities and to foster the exchange between professors and students. These relationships are formally recognised by signing inter-institutional agreements, and are actived on the proposal of the Rector, Professors or the KIRO Coordinator, according to the KORE University of Enna’s educational syllabus. KIRO (Kore International Relations Office) is the first contact and permanent point of reference for all students and staff in the exchange programmes. The most important activities of KIRO are the support, promotion and the wide varieties of opportunities which the Erasmus+ Programme offers through special accompainiyng measures for students and staff. Within the framework of Erasmus+ Programme, in the a.y. 2014-15 there have been the following mobilities: - n. 33 outgoing students (n. 23 with full grant and n. 10 without full grant*) - mobility for study for five months; - n. 9 outgoing students with grant - mobility for traineeship for four months; - n. 7 outgoing teachers with grant; - n. 5 outgoing staff with grant. Students have carried out with success their period of study at foreign universities, achieving the foreseen results in their Learning Agreements for Studies. Students, who have taken part in a traineeship abroad, have had the opportunity to improve their language and interpersonal skills. Teachers and staff have had the opportunity to learn about and experience different academic work places and to compare themselves to their foreign colleagues. The expected impact of participation in the Erasmus+ Programme is: - to increase students’ professional, social and intercultural skills for their employability; - to develop new forms of cross-border cooperation; - to create conditions in order to integrate sistematic learning mobility into curricula; - to foster an open exchange of knowledge, staff and expertise; - to enhance and facilitate exchanges of students and researchers. KORE University of Enna intends to share, with its foreign partners, the achieved results within the Erasmus+ Programme, in order to improve and to acquire experience in this sector. *After the Emendament "Post monitoraggio / Disabili" - "Accordo finanziario, A.A. 2014/2015, we received 847,00 Euros , which have been divided among the 10 students without full grant .
