Higher education student and staff mobility project

The formative offer of the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna, which is organized in three-year course of Figurative – Mosaic arts and a specialistic two-year course in Mosaic, has a variety of plural-discipline activities, taking to reflections and to consider some of the most original and authentic notes of the artisitc research, where the study and the practice of the Arts, to “know-how-to-think” and to “know-how-to-do” coexist and contaminate one each other, to make the Istitution didactical project the most complete and efficient, because of its specialties, on italian and international field. It is an ambitious and high project, which considers the historical city patrimony as a treasure, where mosaic plays a crucial role, claiming the own cultural specifities, paying attention to the “arts fine” in their classical displays, but still using plurial languages, even the most technological and innovative ones, to enrich the artistic proficiencies which are professionalising the students. The mobility exchanges within the Erasmus+ programme with other european academic institutions gave to the mobility partecipants, and in general to the Academy of Ravenna, the possibility to organise and being stronger in the entirety, to mark out distinctions to become an incouraging place to get out all those proficiencies required to emphasise the creativity in all its shapes, and to create original professional figures, who are able to talk to the various directions the contemporary artisitc experience goes. The European project Erasmus+, has been and it is an opportunity to endorse, beside the formative offer of the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna, a chance to know the cultural environmental european heritage, and to identify in the European Union valours, which are those paths of an active and conscious involved citizenry. The project has seen the partecipation of the students in mobility for studying and apprenticeship reasons, teachers for didactical activities and the staff for activities of formation. The evaluation of the different expiriences has been evalueted very satisfying from all the partecipants. When individual positive experiences are shared, they become a collective heritage and they represent an incentive of enthusiasm to encrease the sentiment of belonging to a real european citizenry which could only grow in educational fields. Erasmus is like a virus, once you have got it, nothing can destroy it.
