Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The LEGTPA of Lozere is on two sites (Lycée Louis Pasteur and high school François Rabelais) taking part in the EPLEFPA (Local Public Establishment for Agricultural Education and Professional Training) of Lozère. The site of the Lycée Louis Pasteur located in rural areas and mountains has 180 pupils and students from Bac to Pro License in the fields of aquaculture and water management (Gemeau). To fight against its geographic isolation and promote employability in these two very international areas, the LEGTPA has historically based its strategy on international cooperation. The opening to Europe and the world has a strong identity, shared for 15 years with its 40 staff and reaffirmed in the establishment project 2011-2015 . This cooperation is based on several long-term partnerships in both EU and non EU. Powerful tools allow a specific host professionalizing: Salmon aquaculture, processing workshop, experimental hall in tropical aquaculture and aquaponics, hydraulic lobby. These facilities make personal knowledge, practical and technical approach are strengths LEGTPA of Lozère. The school project has as objectives 2016-2020 broadening this mobility to all sites, improving the quality of mobility to increase the skill level of students and staff, promoting European citizenship cultural awareness and language skills. To achieve these objectives, EPLEFPA is settled in two consortium (France Europea for pupils mobility and Erasm'LR for upper and personal mobility).
