Higher education student and staff mobility project

Our project belongs to the framework of student-teacher& staff mobility from the Erasmus+ program. For several years, our institution’s policy aims to encourage the international mobility of the students because we think that the labour market does not know any border. 35 of our students went for a study semester during their 4th year in a European university partner where they have to do their exams. It allows them to acquire new competences, to deepen their knowledge, to learn technical vocabulary in another language, to discover different work methods and to evolve in an intercultural environment. It’s a real springboard for their career. On their return, the students have to write an intercultural report and present their experience to the 2nd year students. We also promote the teacher and staff mobility, which is included into our human resources’ policy. During their annual performance review, the employees are asked to express their wishes about international mobility and to give a feedback on their experience. So, 3 members of the staff had an international mobility : England, Germany, Finland. We also receive teacher & staff from partner universities. Our goal is to open our collaborators to other perspectives and to build closer links with our partners and think about new collaboration possibilities. We also increase our efforts towards creating links with the companies. The results impacts are very positive because the international mobility has become a full part of our curricula : - 12 weeks international experience are compulsory to obtain our engineer degree - Creation of an international module in order to deepen the stakes of the mobility - Creation of a semester in English in order to improve our attractivity with our partners and foster the mixity with our students
