Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

In the academic year 2014/15 the Conservatory 'Girolamo Frescobaldi "of Ferrara, has fully involved students and teachers for all mobility offered by Erasmus + in full respect of the principles of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education and has expanded the most of its chance to mobility also having signed, in 2014, the agreement with the Consortium CONCERTO (Consortium among the Universities and Conservatories of Emilia-Romagna, being leader University of Ferrara). Mobility Traineeship was promoted for the first time and it was appreciated also for the Staff Training. Conservatory "Frescobaldi" supported five outgoing-students mobilities for study and three mobilities for traineeship (two of them with the Consortium); three incoming students were in Ferrara for the whole academic year. Conservatory "Frescobaldi" supported eight outgoing-teachers mobilities, one incoming mobility and two mobility for training with Consortium Concerto. We involved the incoming students in the musical activity of the Conservatory: one student performed as a soloist in the orchestra for a concert at the Teatro Comunale in Ferrara; currently she continues her studies in our Institution. Two students took part in a master classes given by soloists of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra - in collaboration with Ferrara Musica - playing in concert in a very important Hall in Ferrara: "Il Torrione". An incoming cellist maintained professional relationships with a string quartet of the Conservatory. Four outgoing-students had very good experiences (mobility for traineeship and for study) getting offers to continue their professional activities, working or studying in the host country. Teachers of our Conservatory are succesfully invited by European institutions for the quality and innovation of teaching proposals, to increase and improve relationship between the Conservatories.
