Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Sierra Minera Secondary School of La Unión ( Murcia) is a state school depending on the Education, Training and Employment Council of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and its official character underlines the whole teaching practice. Our High Vocational Training courses include the Administrative and Finance high vocational training course belonging to the professional branch of Administration. The local situation demands that the Educative institution responds to the students necessities in order to improve their personal, linguistic and cultural capacities, so as to answer the demands of the local labour market which is reaching a cultural and linguistic plurality. Thus, it is within this Internacional strategic framework that the Erasmus Program makes sense and our objectives can be fulfilled, since part of the whole training in working centres(job training programme)(FCT) can be carried out in European Union Companies. On the other hand, a door is open to future educational actions such as cooperation, teachers mobilities, educative exchanges, etc, which will accomplish and improve the educative quality and offer of the Sierra Minera School. This project work has had two objectives: One objective is to make possible the execution of the Administration and Finance students´ training in companies of other countries of the European Union, Ireland in this particular case. (Three students at least). Another objective is to enable the visit of a Finance and Administration teacher to the reception company or others with a similar training system to the Spanish one, in order to allow the exchange of good practices. The school has the collaboration of two partners: We had previous experience with the first centre through the programmes ´Academia´and ´Erasmus´. There was an agreement for our Administration and Finance students to do the training module there. The second centre joined our net of contacts during the academic year 2014/15 through a teacher. There was an agreement for our teacher to carry out a proffesional observation in order to improve our net of contacts, to share good practices, to know the vocational training courses of the Portuguese school and the productive environment. All that in order to enable the mobility of students and teachers between both institutions, as well as the establishment of collaborative agreements and projects.
