The project has involved the establishment of a consortium of academic institutions and educational institutions operating in the field of music (TEAM - Traineeship Experience About Music). The participants are: Conservatoire "A. Corelli " - Messina (as coordinator), Conservatoire "G.P. da Palestrina" - Cagliari (as partner), Institute of High Musical Studies "V. Bellini" - Catania (as partner), Conservatoire "G.F. Ghedini " - Cuneo (as partner), Conservatoire "L. Cherubini " - Florence (as partner), Conservatoire "G. Cantelli " - Novara (as partner), Foundation "Centro di Musica Antica Pietà de’ Turchini" - Naples (as partner), Conservatoire "F. Cilea " - Reggio Calabria (as partner), Conservatoire "L. Canepa " - Sassari (as partner). The project has involved the mobility of students to partner countries. The main purpose of the HEI beneficiaries of the grant is to finalize the future musicians’ training, as soloists and/or orchestral musicians, through periods of traineeship at international institutions and enterprise. It is crucial for a professional musician to have the possibility of a 360-degree view of the music scenario also in international contexts throughout his last years of studies, or immediately after earning his degree, that contributes to an outstanding training. The main objective has therefore been to offer students a comparison tool for growth about the level of musical interpretation and, again, to become more complete in terms of professional experience, having the opportunity, thanks to the mobility, to be inserted into musical spheres near other professionals who, with their technical, educational and interpretive differences, compared to those of the home institution, contribute to the formation of a european dimension musician. The synergy between the institutions of the consortium has assumed an important role in achieving the objectives, allowing the involved HEI and national and international companies to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, facilitating cooperation with employers, improving the career prospects and employment potential of the students. 15 students participated, from the academic courses of I and II level and the upper courses of the old system diploma, of the Conservatory of Messina, Reggio Calabria, Sassari, Cagliari, Cuneo, Novara and the Institute of High Musical Studies of Catania.
