Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Historical context of the project Our Lycée, which has a higher education department, has benefited from the Erasmus charter since 2010, and we have been able to send an average of 12 students each year since 2012. We are working in close collaboration with work placement agencies in the following countries : Malta, Spain, the Czech Republic, and some of our students can travel to various other countries thanks to their relatives who live there (ex: Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, etc. ) Two Erasmus coordinators deal with the project, with tasks ranging from communication to the administrative follow-up and the budget monitoring. Our objectives are as follows: - Improving our students’ skills in foreign languages - Developing the European identity of students and staff - Developing the spirit of international cooperation in the Lycée - A higher quality of teaching - Better qualifications for our students. Number of participants and profiles 10 students from three higher-education programs in the Lycée (accounting and organizational management, business assistant in small and medium-sized companies, negotiation and customer relations). 2 male and 8 female students aged 19 to 21, among whom four are students who graduated from a vocational baccalaureate, 5 are scholarship students and 4 are foreigners. Initially, their language skills were limited: before their internship abroad, 5 students had an A1 level, 4 of them had an A2 level and one had a B1 level. When they returned, they had all reached a higher level on the scale of the common European framework.
