IES Las Canteras is a Secondary Education Centre belonging to Madrid´s Council of Education (Consejería de Educación
de Madrid) where superior education of Specific Vocational Training is given: the Training Courses of Superior Grade
(Ciclos Formativos de Grado Superior) given are:
Electricity / Electronics Branch: Electrotechnical Facilities.
Self-Image Branch: Aesthetics (Beauty Consulting).
Physical & Sport Activities: Physical & Sports Coordination.
Our strategy is being present in the international market so as to share our work with other schools and enterprises, to
promote a European dimension by offering both the staff and students in our school a professional and cultural vision of
what there is abroad.
