Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Roskilde University (RUC) has participated in the Erasmus LLP Program since the beginning and has built up an extensive partner portfolio. Partners and activities represent an academic and geographic diversity according to different objective set forth in RUC’s International Education Strategy (2013-2015). In 2014 we focused on the following areas: - High Quality and balanced student mobility - The implementation of pre-approved exchange packages for BA students - The implementation of language profiles (in French, Spanish and German) for BA students in our Humanities and Social Science programs - Increasing the overall number of agreements outside Europe - Increasing staff mobility and certification of language competences - High profiled international joint programs Thanks to the increased focus on internationalization at home, the implementation of several ‘exchange packages’ across the different BA programs and our effort to improve the information and guidance given to our students by offering pre-departure meetings as well as program specific exchange cafés, we saw an increase in the overall number of outgoing student mobilities in 2014/15: Program/type Number of students 2013/14 Number of students 2014/15 Erasmus+ 108 132 Overseas 36 27 Nordlys 22 12 Exchange – total 166 171 We are still very much focused on establishing new agreements outside Europe – something which has been made easier after the implementation of the International Credit Mobility under the Erasmus+ Program. We have also improved the information and guidance given to staff members and we are beginning to see an increase in staff mobility as well. And we continue to focus on improving our guidance to both incoming and outgoing students as well in order to increase the number of mobilities.
