The IRTS (Institute of Social Work) is a training institution which prepares for professions related to social work Apprenticeship programmes are the cornerstone of the training framework. This is why the ITRS submitted its application for forming part of the ERASMUS Charter Since then, our institution is striving to promote incoming and outcoming mobilities. Our goal is to help students: – Considering their profession as part of the world-wide and European context – Combining other assistance practices to their job as social worker and being accountable for it – Being innovative and proactive when sharing and developing new ideas and initiatives – Becoming more autonomous and confident when taking responsibilities - To increase their language skills 15 profiles suit these criteria, one of which suits an ERASMUS traineeship mobility. Other students are granted a scholarship from PACA’s Council. Mobility of teachers and staff plays a major role in the mobility of students. This mobility is also intended for teachers, trainers and general staff. This is for this reason that we are striving to promote practice sharing between teachers as a way to support the professional training of students in the social work sector. Staff mobility for training must allow to think our practices and possibly, to adapt new methods Staff mobility for teaching will aim to share our areas of expertise with european colleagues and their students In 2014, we experienced some difficulties in implementing this mobility due to changes in our team of teachers. The ERASMUS grants help us, partially, for our pedagogical project who include some european and international mobilties Erasmus scholarships play a significant role in the development of skills, knowledge and in the probability of finding a job after graduating.
