The 2014 project of the “Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño de Olot” is to send our students to different companies, in order to acquire occupational, technical and social competencies inside their professional sector and country. In addition the student knows a different professional reality than in their own country. Is also true that these students are being known by different companies ant this is opening an outlet to the European labor market. We’re looking for companies that have a professional profile that is motivating for the students; they decide if the company can bring them what they want. So students benefit from this knowledge and acquisition of professional life and experience. Students, from their march to their arrival report via Facebook to other students in the school. In this way we present the most positive experience for students. In the other hand, the “Escuela” projects itself as a center of higher education courses and get links to organizations in Europe, which is a good benefit for it: We introduce our work through these students and make visible that in our country the education in design and visual arts is in a good level. For us is also a good barometer as we get the response of employers about the level of training that the students have before they arrive to the companies. To conclude, in early November, the students who have experienced Erasmus explain the whole school their experience in a conference organized and featured by themselves. That’s a way to encourage new students to participate in the program. So one more year, the experience has been very positive.
