Artvin Coruh University aims to establish academic and cultural relationships among the academics and students in European and non-European countries and thus contribute to Turkey's academic recognition abroad. Knowing that growing requires globalizing and exchanging information with universities abroad, ACU gives much importance to international relations. Since the city, Artvin has a border with Georgia and close to other Caucasus Universities, ACU has the advantage of cooperating with those nearby universities and has taken its first steps towards creating international relations with nearby countries. In addition to this, By participating Erasmus+ Programme, Artvin Coruh University will be able to achieve its aims on establishing cooperative relations especially with European universities. Taking the experiences mentioned into consideration, and thanks to Erasmus+ programme, it is apparent that ACU will set up strong relationships with the European universities, too.
