Zonzamas Highschool is the largest public learning centre for High Education (HEI) in vocational training in the island of Lanzarote. It originated more than twenty five years ago and has become a model in face-to-face, distance, lifelong and occupational studies for the local population. Nowadays, our politechnical Center offers a variety of Short Cycle Degrees. Our students can choose different titles from seven different professional families: Administration and Finances, Computers and Communication, Electricity and Electronics, Health, Hotel Industry and Tourism, Safety and Enviroment, Energy and Water. We also teach levels 1 and 2 of vocational training, secondary Education and A level. Students of more than thirty nationalities live together in a colaborative atmosphere with a continuous cultural exchange. By participating in the Erasmus for Everyone Programmeee (2014-2020) we aim to set a very concrete internationalization strategy which allow us to reach our objective: to make our institution into a regional reference when referring to High Education in the Lanzarote Island. This way we pretend to increase our contribution to people -introducing policies focused on reaching a sustainable economic development, a forward-thinking society and a rise on opportunities as much as emplyment quality. We want to activate interchanges, cooperation and mobility among our students, teachers and all the school staff. Our main objective in this our first year of participation is the commitment to educational quality of vocational training of our students, the subsequent incorporation into the world employment, both during their internship in companies, as after graduation by managing and energizing employment exchange program. Therefore we have focused on the organization of mobility for our students to do the training module FCT Workplaces in EU countries through practices in companies or organizations with which we establish agreements. We make a distribution of grants awarded between applicants of all Short Cycle Degree the center. We are prepared for both students and staff in our organization. We also understand as a priority an active part of the network of social agents that make the productive sector of our island and our region to ensure that relationships between companies and our students are as successful as possible. It is also very important for us to contribute to the spread of Erasmus + program between the educational community and the local population in general.
