In addition, non-consecutive / further education Master programmes are offered, partly in English or Spanish. The ASH Berlin bases its teaching, research and practical development on international, societal and academic developments. It collaborates internationally with universities, practice institutions and associations, and promotes the exchange of students, teachers and other employees, as well as international research projects. In internationally-orientated study programmes, students are qualified for new cross-border tasks and field of practice. As determined in the ASH Berlin mission statement, we support the acquisition and the in-depth study of foreign languages and intercultural skills through a variety of offers and means for all university members. Mobility and cooperation with international partners; international exchange and the continuous quality development of higher education cooperation distinguish our university. In the 2014 project, overall 76 people participated, 48 students and 28 teaching and administrative staff who went abroad for teaching or who completed a staff training programme at partners universities or other institutions (STT). The 2014 project thus featured student mobility for studies or for internships abroad, teaching and staff mobility. With the various activities completed, the project led to a further internationalization of the university. In particular, the number of incoming students increased significantly during the project period, which contributed to an increased presence of international experiences and local expertise. At the same time new partnership agreeements were signed, the mobility of teachers and staff could be increased significantly. Also. the International Curriculum (our English-, Spanish and Turkish-taught courses) was expanded. The sum of our activities and offers strongly contributed to the internationalization@Home as well as the increased mobility of the different target groups.
