The Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin set the following goals for academic year 2014: - Promoting academic and personal development stays abroad - Promoting student understanding of the "European idea" - Supporting cultural competence and networking - Facilitating professor and lecturer exchanges at partner schools - Increasing the number of faculty with international teaching experience and administrative personnel with intercultural experience In total three students and two teaching faculty were able to spend time abroad during the 2014 academic year. In the long term the Hanns Eisler School of Music hopes to achieve the following goals through the ERASMUS+ Programme: - Fostering a culture and atmosphere of openness and inclusion, as well as participating in the Euro Art Higer Education Area in order to strengthen the school's artistic profile - Promoting international mobility through increased cooperation in teaching and praxis - Facilitating cultural, social, and political exchange in order to strengthen mutual understanding and trust - Promoting artistic expertise and networking for global employability
