Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Erasmus Plus programme supports one of the most important strategic areas of Collegium Da Vinci which is the internationalization of the school. As a result, we observe an increase in the number of foreign students, we develop our didactic offer dedicated to students from abroad and develop the offer of complementary products: summer schools, trainings for foreigners, Polish language courses. We effectively target foreign students by using the lates communication channels (websites, social networking, foreign student portals, trade fairs and seminars for high school students). The aim of the project is to improve the competences of our students, teaching staff and other employees of Collegium da Vinci which will correspond to their needs, the economy and the labor market as well as the internationalization of the school, through their support in studying, apprenticeship and participation in various trainings at partner universities abroad. Collegium Da Vinci has realized the following tasks in the project: - 7 students have been sent to study (the agreement was scheduled for 5 trips); - 4 trips of administrative staff (the agreement was scheduled for 6 trips). We failed to realize students’ trips for practical courses (the agreement was scheduled for 10 trips) and one visit of academic teacher. However, we are still trying to increase the number of teaching staff and administrative employees traveling abroad in order to enable the transfer of knowledge and the promotion of our unique, practical fields of study and to cooperate with foreign research and education institutions. Our school is continually expanding by signing new partnership agreements with foreign universities which ensures the mobility of students as well as teaching and administrative staff. We can see the following long-term benefits:  - Improving the competences and expanding the opportunities for personal development of the project participants, their involvement as conscious and active members of society and increasing their chances of employment in the European labor market and beyond its borders; - The increase of independence and self-esteem of participants; - Ensuring better recognition of skills acquired during the study periods abroad; - The introduction of innovation and improvement of the quality of teaching, trainings and student work in Europe; - Improving the knowledge of foreign languages among the participants; - Raising awareness and knowledge of other cultures and countries among the participants; - Increase the capacity, the attractiveness and the international dimension of the school; - Developing and strengthening the cooperation with partners from other countries; - Increase of innovation and improving the mode of operation for the target group by providing more attractive programs for students and practicioners according to their needs and expectations, improving the qualifications of teaching staff; - Strengthening the synergy effects and the transition processes between formal education, vocational training, entrepreneurship and employment.
