Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 30, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary participates in the Erasmus Programme since 1997. The aims of the project for the academic year of 2014/15 - the first one launched within the framework of the new Erasmus+ Programme - were the following: to increase the number of mobilities compared to the previous years and also to insure quality implementation in compliance with the Erasmus Charter criteria. Altogether 68 students, 18 teachers and 9 staff members participated in the 4 outbound mobility types, meaning that we outperformed the previously set quantitative targets. 18% of the students participating in mobility for studies came from disadvantaged background and 2 students completed their traineeship abroad as recent graduates. A slight imbalance in mobility is caused by the lower number of incoming mobilities. Primarily, the mobilities improved the professional and personal skills of the participants and secondly of those students, teachers and staff, who were the recipients of experience sharing, thereby contributing to the qualitative development of the university and to its internationalization process. Furthermore, the inter-institutional and personal relations established and strengthened within the Erasmus Programme provide basis of further international projects and co-operations.
