Széchenyi István Egyetem has been taking part in the Erasmus programme since 1998, in students? and staff mobility. Mobility in numbers in 2014/15 academic year: altogether 109 individuals, 43 students for study, 22 students for traineeship, 28 teaching mobility and 16 administrative staff mobility have been implemented in abroad. The number of the incoming students is 67 and 44 incoming staff members visited the university in the same academic year (23 teachers, and 11 admin. employees). Our partner list grew in the past academic year, we have inter-institutional agreements with 126 partners currently, but we have had real mobility cooperation with 79 partners in the last year (we only received individuals from 25 institutions, we only sent individuals to 47 institutions, and we have had mutual cooperation in students and staff mobility with 7 institutions). The Erasmus+ program is one of our university's most successful programs, participants' number rises from a year to a year. The University's committed and competent colleagues and management are belonging to the successful implementation of the program. Thanks to their activity the following achievments are available at the university: - well prepared colleagues welcome the participants in academic (Erasmus departmental coordinators) and administrative issues (academic registrar?s office, international office) - accomodation in the dormitory for all incoming students - continuous students mentor network is ensured for the foreign students, - various programs for the foreign Erasmus students during the whole school year (orientation day, welcome party, sightseeing, country quiz, charity, excursions) by ESN Gy?r student organisation. Thanks to the support, we continue to raise the level of our services, provided to the foreign students and staff (dormitory renovation, updating websites, publishing information materials). International experiences are provided by incoming lecturers even for those students, who could not make use of the opportunity, provided by the Erasmus. We consider our teachers, staff mobility particularly important, because there is a growing need to exchange experience, particularly in the rapidly developing engineering area, which is the leading profile of the University. Our teachers strive to share their experiences (abroad or at home by incoming colleagues), to integrate it in the education furthermore the international mobility, the courses in foreign language, the number of international students play all a very important role in the employees? professional recognition, in the evaluation of their internal projects.
