"Hi Bro!" was a bilateral cultural exchange project between a Lithuanian Cultural Association from Vilnius, and an Italian Cultural Association from Lavello in the province of Potenza. The number of participants was the same for both associations: 11 female and 11 male for a total of 22 youngsters 14-22 years old + 2 adult leaders: 1 man and 1 woman. The two associations are very similar because the young participants have the same age and associations dealing with cultural activities aimed at social inclusion such as music, theatre and dance. The project was carried out in the town of Lavello and also involved young people who for various reasons find themselves in a difficult situation: economic problems, problems of social integration. The objectives of the project were: fighting social exclusion with activities in the field of music, dance, theatre and create a stable group of volunteers that help immigrants throughout the year who come to Lavello to perform seasonal work. Thanks to this project and thanks to informal and non-formal learning all young people have acquired many skills that have been certified with the Youthpass.
The youth were gathered together in working groups and the main activities that kids have played were: Ice-breaking game, work group, meetings for reflection, meetings with local authorities, with youth groups and student unions, preparing a final event, evaluation meetings, parties and outings.
