Héritage artistique, littéraire et scientifique du jardin hispano-musulman dans les jardins d'Europe
Start date: Jul 1, 2014, End date: Jun 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Historical context and participants: This is a mobility project and training with classes organized in granada (Spain) by the organization Paysage et Patrimoine sans frontière. Five secondary school teatchers (maths, french, spanish, art and music) attented this training with the aim of leading a huge 2 years interdisciplinary project and to prepare the exam of History of Arts in june 2016. Each of the participants represents a different subject (maths, french, spanish, art and music) but they work together on the project History of Arts. Aims of the participants: To intensify our knowledge and developping our artistic IT and liguistic skills, to find and innovative teaching approach, to develop interdisciplinary work, to learn to use new IT technologies in the TICE, to enhance the creativity of each pupil through writing workshops, musical and plastic compositions and arrangements; to open the school to Europe thanks ti eTwinning,to strengthen the links between colleagues, to teach pupils to be actors of their learning. Project Management: We have been in close communication with the head of the proposed training (Mrs Rutily from the organization Paysage et Patrimoine sans frontière as well as the headteacherand the manager of the school. Meetings have been organized with the mayors of the cities surrounding our school. Results and impacts: For us, the proposed program of training courses has on the whole met our expectations. We haven't been able to use IT during the training as we expected, but when we came back this motivated us to learn by ourselves eductional softwares (Didapages, Sketchup, Audacity..) For the pupils, this project contributed to the acquisition of the common core of knowledge and skills. It trained them for the exam DNB of Arts in History of june 2016. Throughout these 2 years, the 5 teachers have organized interdisciplinary workshops: realisation of prototypes, models, paper and virtual garden works, writing workshops and artistic creations, exchanges with a landscaper. Activities carried out: Teacher training, mobility to Granada: conferences, visits of parks and gardens, group work, examples of pedagogical activities. Achieved results: Thanks to this project we have reinforced group cohesivenes and have discovered and experimentes new pedagogical practices. The scope of the project concerning 152 pupils has asked for timetable modifications. All the pupils have taken part in all the workshops (only the trip to Spain in may 2016 was limited to 48 pupils for logistical and boarding reasons by the spanish families) We have closed the 2 years of the project with a great exposition of all the works done, for wich we invited all the players and partners. Potential benefits in the long term: We have reinforced the links with the primary scholl of our town (the pupils have contributed to the exhibition of june 2016) The project will have impacts in the future arrangement of the school patio thanks to a partnership with a landscaping school in Saintes (Georges Desclaude)
