HERE THERE PLUS
Start date: Apr 1, 2015, End date: Sep 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

For 9 months, 10 volunteers from 9 different Partner countries will be involved in Here There Plus project. They will develop activities about promoting the values of European Union in general and in special about cultural diversity for children and disadvantage teenagers in hospitals, social centers, schools, kindergartens and high schools from Bucharest and rural areas around. Another important dimension of the project will be to promote among youngsters the democracy values, active citizenship and voluntary attitude. These activities, together with different other training courses will offer to the young EVS volunteers (the majority of the selected ones are unemployed youngsters or they are finding themselves in the risk of getting unemployed) the opportunity to achieve new competences of socio-educative animator, clinic animator and educator. Working methodology used during the project will help the 10 EVS volunteers to develop entrepreneurship and management competences. The result of the educational program realized by this project in partnership with more than 60 schools, kindergartens and high schools will be to increase the quality of educational process at formal level. Romanian teachers will implement new and creative methods inspired from the volunteers, who will achieve them by taking part into the specialized training courses offered by A.C.T.O.R team or they will just get them from their own education system of their country. The project will provide different video, audio or multimedia materials about cultural diversity which will be posted on the internet and accessible for the teachers from all over the Europe. In addition, through the partnership with the Educational Ministry and Teacher Stuff Resource Center /Casa Corpului Didactic and by interacting with the volunteers, the teachers will gain competences of inter-cultural communication and cooperation.
