Our management made a project within the scope of Erasmus+ before. However,Mehmet Rıfat Börekçi Primary School/Mamak, Nedim İnal Primary S./Mamak and İltekin Primary S./Çankaya has never participated in an European Union Project yet.Our instution,which has great potential to carry out a project, engage with the teams of the other two schools mentioned before during the application process and develop a new project.Consortium members; Mehmet Rıfat Börekçi PrimarySchool, Nedim İnal Primary School and İltekin Primary School made a meeting chaired by the School principal and determined that there is a significant increase in the number of special need students compared to the previous academic years as a result of this, teachers committee identified students requiring special education and approaches as a problem area.As a result of the brainstormings made to produce solutions for this problem, management decided to organize meetings and announcements for the teachers' needs in this area and chose the volunteer staff fulfilling the criteria for F section and the names of the chosen teachers will send to the provincial education directorate(MEM).Purposes of this project aims to provide basic education and equal opportunities for the students with special needs; to observe examples in different cultures to adapt these students to the society and increase the incentives for such activities by sharing these experiences with the other colleagues; to recognize cultural differences and provide cultural exchange ; to be teachers attaining international standarts and to be willing for the language learning; to create an adequately qualified teacher profile considering learning areas of special need students; to take advantage of teachers' academic knowladge in Europe; to improve the quality of education at our Schools; to increase the awareness of the special need children among the peer groups in Schools; to contribute to special need students to be individuals who adapt to society easily; to realize the factors behind the success of educating students having special needs by using the literature related to special need children. With the scope of Erasmus+ School project, ten teachers from Mehmet Rıfat Börekçi Primary School, six teachers from İltekin Primary School and three teachers from Nedim İnal Primary School will participate in training courses last for five days in Finland, Belgium and Prague within the next sixteen months. Our profile of participants are between the age of 25 and 50 and they all have at least five years experience. These teachers all worked in different parts of our country. They have between five and twenty five years of professional experiences in their jobs.Furthermore;They have at least one student having special needs in their classrooms.They have received certificates for students with special needs before.They all have the language proficiency( at least A2).They can communicate with the parents of special need students and the guide teachers They attended the Erasmus courses given in MEB.These teachers have provided at least three conditions of being a member of the school project team in the preparatory phase of our project.The main activities of the project are; reporting the consortium schools of the acceptance of our project; organizing project teams; registering to courses that we pre registrated before; creating the project brain team; signing of the grant agreement with the national agency; signing agreements with the participants; opening bank accounts for the participants; completion of the linguistic and cultural deficiencies of the participants; getting the passports and plane tickets and organizing the other work processes. Other activities in the project will be organized according to the course schedules in the host countries.After the trainings abroad; our project schools will be sharing their experiences and knowlage with the other related staff and people like teachers, students, parents and other authorities by means of presentations, web sites, brochures, school panels and e-twinning.Until the end of the project; project teams will provide lots of people to see and learn these acquired recoveries by using social media effectively.Trainings received by the participants in Europen countries which are good examples of combining basic key competences and qualifications accepted in Europe will raise awareness about the special need children for teachers, students, parents, schools, provinces at the country level. Besides; this will support the improvement of the language knowladge of the participants and it will permit participants to gain a different perspective on European identities. Furthermore;this will create an international integration among the teachers who have a key role in adapting the special needs students to society and give opportunities to transfer their knowladge and experiences about the education systems of member states to larger areas.
