The project “Helping you learn how to helo!” has the following theme: to bring 6 european volunteers in social, cultural activities with children, youth persons with mental disabilities, children from community. The stage will start in April and it will least 10 months. The role of the European volunteer is to get involved in social and leisure activities with children and adult persons with disabilities (mental, physical, psychic) from the day centre,residential and unit type families within our institution, educational activities, promotion of evs programms, promotion of the protection environment, . Upon the arrival in Romania, the volunteer will be trained at the General Directorate of Social Work and Child Protection and they will attend Romanian language classes. During the volunteer stage, our institution will be organize different courses: communication , puppets, theatre, drums. At the end of the stage, the volunteers will aquire skills and abilities in order to find a working place. Meantime, they will learn new thinngs useful for them as people. They will became independent. They will learn new things about terms like: diversity, interculturality, discrimination, disability, xenofobia. Moreover, it will be promoted active citizenship, cultural exchange, tolerance among young people, social inclusion of persons with few opportunities. The partners are organization with strong experience and expertize in europen volunteers programms. The project it will coordonated by a manager, and all the volunteers will be supported by the menthors, supervisors. Our institution will ensure the accomodation, pocket money, training courses and romanian language courses. As methods it will be used non formal education, participative and non participative observation.
