Healthy Living: How to live longerThe need for the project was concieved from the observation of young people. Widespread civilization diseases among our peers and the world around us resulted in the desire to create such a project, which would help realize the essence and importance of a healthy lifestyle. We realize that people destroy their bodies while falling into extremes by blindly following the ideals of beauty straight from the covers of magazines or alternatively consuming empty calories daily.Fast food, the lack of exercise and the overuse of substances causes the population health to deteriorate steadily, while life expectancy continues to fall. If nothing changes, people are more likely to get sick and die more quicker than a decade ago. In a couple of years, today's youth will be much more sickly than their parents, unless there will be a fundamental transformation of the current lifestyles.Faced with the threats that await us we decided to act because we wish to implement a project that will increase awareness of the impact of nutrition and physical activity on health.The goals that we have set are:- To familiarize participants with the concept of health and a healthy lifestyle;- Inceasing knowledge through the analysis of ones way of life and its impact on the health in the present and future;- Deepening the knowledge of the participants in planning changes in their lifestyles that bring beneficial changes to their health;- Increasing awarness of lifestyle diseases and their prevention- Increasing awareness of the different philosophies in life. Diets in different cultures- Increasing knowledge of the role of a proper diet in human life, eating habits- Increasing knowledge on the impacts of genetically modified foods on health- Depthening the participants' awareness of the impact of substances (alcohol, drugs, cigarettes) on human health and life- Increasing the knowledge of the scope of breath in our lives- Increasing awarness of the essence of physical activities in the lives of young people and adults- Development of local awareness concerning a healthy lifestyles, physical activities, proper dietMETHODS:Games and activities concerning integration. Health education workshop - How to live in the era of civilization diseases. Historical workshops - how much has food culture changed over the centuries in different regions of the world. Sports- yoga classes. Diet Workshop concerning proper nutrition and the impact of food on our bodies. Workshop concerning dietary habits as a path to good health.We will take a look at the effects of GMO food during the workshops, work in groups. Pro-health workshops concerning the effects of substenance use (alcohol, drugs, cigarettes) on health and human life. Breathing Workshop. Workshop: What does physical activity give us? The positive effects of sports. Sport Workshops – Salsa dance Workshops. Pro-health workshops led by the participants for the local community. How to eat healthy to live longer. Sports and games with the local community ,football match with the locals.The workshop summary.
