A total of 50 people participated in the exchange with each participant participating in a wide variety of Sports such as rugby, volleyball, climbing, archery, skiing etc; Cultural sessions, Topical Workshops, presentations, focus groups, intercultural games and team building activities, all of which were youth led, with the young people conducting most aspects. The young people themselves were aged 16-19 and all came from different backgrounds, religious beliefs, cultural opinions and also sporting background. Many were experienced and confident sport enthusiasts, however some were new to the concept of sport and this enabled them to learn new skills and enhance knowledge around sport and healthy lifestyles The overall aim of the exchange was to promote healthy lifestyles through engaging in sporting activities, increasing awareness of healthy behaviours to develop health, social, mental, emotional and physical well-being. With emphasis placed on forging greater links between European Countries and to share good practice/ increase knowledge of cultural differences. Many participants tried various sports for the first time and this allowed them to develop existing skills as well as forging new ideas. This also had huge impacts on many of the participants' interpersonal skills, such as being more confident and motivated to participate and empower others.
