This training course is a learning-by-doing experience which will include a number of adventurous outdoor activities and promotes healthy behaviors, in particular through the promotion of the practice of outdoor activities and grass-roots sport, as a means to promote healthy lifestyles as well as to foster social inclusion and the active participation of young people in society. The project will support the improving quality of inclusive youth work by rising trainers’ competence and youth workers to use and know the limitations of outdoor education and experiential learning methods, as renewed ways to reach a more diverse group of youth. During the training, participants will be provided with theoretical background on how to facilitate reflections after various activities. Afterwards, there will be several opportunities for each participant to train newly adopted methods. This is aimed to inspire participants to incorporate these activities in their own youth work and gain mastery in closing activities. Supported by reflection after activities, young people can truly learn from outdoor activities. During the programme will be also used sport activity where will be involved the local youth also. By using outdoor activities, organizations can efficiently deal with new challenges in youth work. The course will support to developing teamwork, leadership and cooperation skills of the participants, develop conflict resolution skills and give them self confidence and personal development opportunities. This training course targets youth leaders, workers interested in using outdoor education and experiential learning as a tool, for developing leadership skills and to empower young people within an inclusion and/or diversity context, in their future YIA projects. The course will promote the participants to get experience, analyses and reflected upon experiential learning and outdoor tools as a method and their transferability towards their future projects and daily work. They will understood and get the know-how to use different theoretical concepts, which give a support to run outdoor training courses in future project which will be organized as a follow up activities. They will learn how outdoor activities can be used in Erasmus+ Project and provide detailed information about Erasmus+ Programme, which give them opportunity to share insights, experiences and good practices, and promote the idea of the follow up actions they will plan last day on working on future project proposals.
