Healthy Eating Active Leaders (HEAL) project starts from the fact that many of the issues facing young adults have their origin in childhood and teenage years, therefore, the health of young people is a concept that should be analyzed according to the definition provided by WHO: "Health not merely the absence of disease but a state of complete physical, psychological and social." The main topics of the project are a healthy lifestyle and participation of young people, in which 14 young people will take part in Europe and over 100 young people from Romania. The objectives of HEAL Project are: 1. The linguistic development of communication skills in a foreign language for 14 young people in Europe, for a period of six months in Sighisoara. 2. Organizing 8 public events by EVS the vounteers for a period of six months, where at least 150 young people to participate in the local community, to promote volunteering, non formal education and healthy lifestyle concept. 3. Increasing efficiency information on a healthy lifestyle has a number of 14 young people in Europe during 6 months. EVS volunteers will use informal methods of non-formal and especially during their internship and will conduct such as: - Promoting the elements of culture and civilization of the countries of origin for EVS volunteers. Examples of working methods: presenting different workshop habits , cooking workshop, dance workshop specific to countries of origin. - Promotion of outdoor activities and sports, especially as a form of self- improvement, self-confidence and acquiring others, learning teamwork. Examples of tests: Workshop basketball/volleyball/handball. - Promoting dance as a form of expression, creativity and leisure (possibly outdoor). Examples of tests: modern dance workshops and / or sport, dance improvisation sessions, role play. - Promote "Erasmus +" program for young people and organizations active in Sighisoara. Examples of tests: Cafe World, interactive workshops, etc. Among the expected outcomes after the implementation of the project are: - Developing a website focused on informing the public in relation to a healthy lifestyle , including sports, outdoor exercise, proper diet and leisure opportunities to improve lifestyle adopted - Infomarea the apropximati 100 young people from Romania on the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle through different non-formal methods (meetings, presentations, events, thematic workshops ) Project activities, both by their subject and by the way will be put in place will create a major impact in the community. This will be due to both partners' motivation to put into practice the project, the dedication of volunteers and attract relevant local institutions that will increase the impact of its contribution to the local community. Local partner organization hosting contacted non-governmental organizations in the area, the local Red Cross and individuals such as doctors and athletes, as some activities will be carried out by their direct contribution and will be facilitated by them. The two local stations project will make the message reach the highest possible number of people and activities of the volunteers will be the beneficiaries a total of over 100 young people . The message of the project is estimated to reach a very high number of inhabitants of Sighisoara and hosting national level . Many of the project activities will be carried out directly in the community and with the involvement of many young people in the community. The local population will be accountable and sensitized the message of the project, a large number of people will be more careful in terms of actions that involve a healthy lifestyle .
