After four months, 16 out of 28 persons on long-term sickness leave and unemployed are back atwork.This is the result of the transnational joint rehabilitation programme.The programme is one of the three main collaboration areas.Dental health and improved access to on-call doctors are other items on the agenda. At present the project aims to install an on-call doctor’s unit somewhere in the borderland, just as welcome on either side of the national border. The gains from transnational collaboration is an improved offering of healthcare and better use of the resources.
