Our project roots in the fact that our School Stratejic Policy Plan hasn't reached its objectives exactly and our attempts to contract in a Ka2 partnership project have failed .Our aim is to have qualified staff that can develop a vision and a school policy plan on internationalization ,manage & organize all kind of international activities ,ensure the quality of the projects and link them to the curriculum,make successful applications for grants within the Erasmus Plus programme, and stimulate the streamlining of curricular elements in an international dimension.We believe that we can meet these needs by taking part in an international training course with the title"let's make our school more international"provided by Cervantes course organization in Spain.Because the content and working methods at the course offer possibilities which can provide our requirements.It is possible to increase our school quality and success by making the curriculum more European and international oriented.Wıth the development of the staff's professional competences in our school we will be able to reach our objectives. Our priorities in participation this course are to develop a Long term School Policy Plan on internationalisation and perform a Ka2 project with the partners from Europe .The necessary skills on which elements are important while designing a long term school plan will be acquired by the participants.In addition, the foundation of a possible Ka2 partnership will be built at the course.Firstly, the participating staff will acquire the essential competences on project writing, filling in an application form ,writing project progress report,writing a final report and submitting the project report during the in-service training course.Secondly,the participants will be supplied with the significiant knowledge related to finacial and administrative management ,assessment of the project,methods while evaluating the project and dissemination of the project throughout the course.Finally ,our staff members will gain the experiences on how to integrate the projects to the curricula,which ICT tools and how they are going to use in international projects . The number of participants consists of 5 people including Headmaster,Assistant Principal ,Literature Teacher and English Teachers.The staff members are the instructors who have joined some in-service training courses and they have the enough capacity to carry out a project successfully.They have been selected according to their English level ,being volunteer ,being well motivated and being wiling to share the knowledge after the course.They are the people who wish to improve themselves in terms of professional competences . They are devoted , care about project based and cooperative learning ,use the elements including European and international dimension in their lessons as well.The participating staff has been divided into two working groups .The first group including the Headmaster ,the Assistant Principal ,the Literature Teacher .The second group includes the English Teachers.After the training the first group will be responsible for using the first version of the school policy plan drafted as an intellectual output of the course to develop a long term school policy plan within six months after the end of the course.The second group's responsibility is to design and carry out Ka2 projects. After the course within the scope of dissemination the experiences will be shared holding presentations and seminars with the non-participating staff at school and other personnel district-wide .Through Çekmeköy Education Directorate a seminar on preparing ka2 projects will be organised to 50 personnel district-wide in order to help them write successful projects. By means of our school web page and our school's blog the public will be informed about our competences .Leaflets will be published by the help of Çekmeköy Education Directorate and will be sent to schools in all provinces. The local media will be informed about our competences and the coverage about the course will be provided in the local media such as Çekmeköy Haber Gazetesi & Yeni Haber Gazetesi -Çekmeköy. An article "School Improvement Plan with the EU Harmonization of Policies "entitled will be provided in the local media and web-based news sites. Surveys wil be carried out .Before,during & after the course assessment reports will be prepared to evaluate to what extent we 've reached our goals.Each participant will prepare a Personel Development Plan about himself/herself and present it to school.The class observation forms will be filled in to measure to what extent in-class learning methods have been improved and how many of these facilities are being used.Within a few months after the training the meeting of Teahers'Assembly will be held to evaluate how many of these outcomes have been put into practice.
