The absence of care personnel in elderly and patient care and right use of techniques and methods by trained staff have emerged the long and extensive training needs. The increased use of care and nursing homes suggests the increased employment opportunities in this field.Turkey's population in 2015 is 78.8 million, according to data ABPRS. 12.2% of the population (9,6mn.) is constituted by the so-called 65 years old. In our province, the population has reached to 402k and 19.2% of the population according to 2015 data (76k) is over 65 years. Compared to the ratio of Turkish average aging population, the ration in the region will reach to 24% by 2023, which means that the need for qualified manpower in the field of elderly and patient care will reveal. The overall objective of our project is to meet the needs of labor market seeking qualified and certified staff in the field of elderly and patient care while our special objective of our consortium members is to increase the capability and capacity of learners getting education of the patient and elderly care and patient care and also increase employability. In order to achieve these objectives, we have decided to establish partnership with EuroCert Academy based in Berlin, Germany with positive reference. A total of 33 learners in elderly care and patient care and 6 accompanying people will have two-week work placement mobility with three flows. At the end of the project, the need for qualified and certified staff in elderly and patient care will be resolved. On long term the need for the staff in elderly and patient care will be provided and the employability of the alumni of the field will be increased.
