They should work with pedagogic support this history themself, and so they should lern a lot about the medieval Hanseatic League and some older different professions.
In addition to the study of the theaterplay, the young actors will be accompanied on the way to find a job, and get opportunities to get insight into different professionsan to exchange the informations.
In this project, the students should have the opportunity to perform the play in the international Hansatic League meeting in Viljandi / Estonia. Since both cities are as Hanseatic towns members of the International Hanseatic League, a youth meeting with young people from Cesis is perfect. From there, a participation and an appearance at the league meetings in Viljandi in Estonia on 05 June 2015, can be well organized.
Staying in a foreign country is to offer young people the opportunity to meet the local education system and to discuss the different professions in different countries. The Youth Exchange is complemented with appropriate program points that makes a cultural and intercultural exchange between cities experienced. These experiences are becoming increasingly important in the European labor market.
The target of this project is to support the self-esteem and self-confidence of young people and to strengthen their international and intercultural competencies. For that the development and performance of a play is a very suitable medium.
The encounter with young people of another European country and participation in the international league meetings promoted European awareness.
