Having some experience in organizing activities for handicapped youth, four volunteers will be main coordinators of the project. Among main problems that we would like to respond to is the inclusion of people with disabilities, the need of communication, socialization with people in the group, need of development independent and meaningful leisure time. Our vision is to connect the world of young people with disabilities and people without disabilities; (2) improve the quality of life of people with disabilities. The project has an aim (with the help of demolishing the social, cultural and language barriers) to create space for making friendships, to increase awareness of needs of people with disabilities, to show opportunities for leisure activities, to develop the independence and to strengthen the connection with nature. The target group are young people (13-18) with and without disabilities from the Czech Republic and Turkey. Group leaders, organizers and other support but participants will be older, to ensure the smooth running of activities and oversee the implementation of educational goals. Primarily, we would like to get involved in activities youth with physical disabilities who have limited opportunities. The main activity will be the common residence; also it’ll include other partial activities in the area of Březejc. Individual activities that take place during the period of the main activity are: interactive games, various forms of group work, sports activities, art activities and techniques, all-day trip / excursion, visiting day, a masked carnival, evening campfire and other common activities such as role plays, discussions, brainstorming, method of experiences, icebreakers, energizers, games for supporting group dynamics and collaboration. These activities will lead to the fulfillment of next educational objectives: developing the ability to build relationships, expressing own opinions and listening to others, expressing own emotions, gaining knowledge about disability and needs of people with disabilities, identifying opportunities of leisure, developing independence and learning to be more aware about nature. We expect the impact of the project on several levels, first of all, the impact on the participants themselves. There we would like to improve the competences of young people and gain the awareness of other groups of youth (13-18). Also we hope to improve organizational and leadership abilities of participants who are more involved in the organization. Moreover we expect the impact at the local level. We would like to invite local people and familiarize them with our project and with young people who participate in our main activity. At national and international level, we expect to continue cooperation and partnership between two organizations and further cooperation in other areas.
