"Ha összejövünk, az a kezdet. Ha együtt maradunk, az már haladás. Ha együtt dolgozunk, az a siker." (H. Ford)
Start date: Aug 1, 2016, End date: Jul 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

At our institution, Szekszard Professional Training Centre (Szekszardi Szakkepzesi Centrum) Janos Csere Apaczai Professional Secondary School and Student Hostel in Dombovar, Hungary students are taught as daytime ones on trade, transport and home affairs branches till matura and in after-matura trainings alike. In the mentioned professional groups German or English can be chosen as a foreign language. We sought foreign partners with the help of which our would-be beneficiaries can join the work of institutions and companies in German- and English-speaking areas. We have been cooperating with Aloys-Fischer-Schule in Deggendorf, Germany since 2006. At the beginning the resources of the former Leonardo da Vinci mobility programme gave excellent opportunity to the students of economics in the first place, later on students of transport as well. Our partner finds workplaces which undertake the employment of Hungarian guest students spending their internship. The participants are expected to speak good German and/or English with proper IT-knowledge at user level, office and economic knowledge. The workplaces for practice are local or regional authorities, offices, educational-cultural institutions and small or medium-size companies, firms. With our partner, Easy Job Bridge/ Easy School of Languages in Malta we carried out our first project in 2014. Erasmus+ gave us the chance to choose them from three previous English-speaking mobilities as the partner in Malta proved to be most valuable one for us. The opportunity is ideal from several points of view, in the first place regarding the Maltese partner’s excellent cooperation and great ability to organize work.Since September 2013 – since the professional frame curriculum requires summer internship on each year- our situation has been fairly difficult since the facilities and opportunities of our town of 20,000 are rather limited. Beyond extending our students’professional vocabulary our aim is to get acquainted with small or medium-size enterprises in Europe and compare them with the Hungarian ones.In the frames of the current project with the same purpose we intend to organize two mobilities for 16 students with 2 teacher escorts altogether. Since we know both partners already, we intend to organize a 3-week internship for the groups. It is proper for the receiving institutions and the age of the students alike. Our students learn finance, logistics and trade, all of them have final certificate in the relevant foreign language. The realization of the project will take place expectedly from 1 August 2016 to 31 July 2017. We are planning the internship in Malta starting from the second half of August 2016, the planned term of the mobility in Germany is July 2017, adjusting everything to the requests of our partners and the schedule of the internship. For our institution the aims of the project in the first place are reinforcing the standards of the practical professional training, forming international cultural and economic relationships and maintaining them on a long term, using the knowledge aquired during the mobility internship in the theoretical training, acquiring economic organizational knowledge and applying it in the home country. Not least, we intend to apply the acquired international experiences in our everyday practice also as a motivating factor to make the practical training more attractive.
