Gundeles szakoktatók tanulmányútja a nemzetközi tananyagfejlesztés érdekében
Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: May 31, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

The innovative programme with preparation and short term dissemination takes altogether 24 months, of which 3 times one week is spent in France, Italy and Germany. There are 33 colleagues taking part in it. They are all working for BVHSzC Gundel Károly Vocational School as vocational teachers, instructors (chefs, confectioners, waiters), teachers of foreign languages. Within the project we plan to implement 3 mobilities with 13 participants each time .The aim of the project including the above mobilities for further training is to expand the content of the present teaching materials in vocational education with moduls containing internationational gastronomy. The present curriculum of vocational education is almost completely missing the international perspectives, though there is a need for it, as internationalism has become outstandingly important in catering and turism.By learning and experiencing internationalism in action our team will prepare written and media materials that can be used in the innovation. There are many ingredients that are not available or are too expensive to be used in schools, and also new technologies not yet known in our country. Thanks to mobilities these can be adapted (at least through multimedia devices) and included in the new curriculum. The mobility programme will lead to experience new methodologies in teaching as well and develop our trainers competencies in future. Our international partners are well known for their dedicated and professional work. The German partner is a nonprofit civil organization, with officies all around Germany and the Baltic states, while the Italian and the French are big school complexes. Each of them have been organizing and carrying out successfully such programmes for years. They help us -meet and consult with their own colleagues (jobshadowing), -to be able to visit work places specialised to using ingredients we are interested to. - organise discussions with the decision makers in education of their country. The aims of the project also include to improve the beneficiaries’ second language skills, to enable them to use technical terminology with ease.Steps of the programme: 1.Member of the school have discused and agreed upon preparing the relevant teaching material of international gastronomy that is missing from the national curriculum. Training of our vocational trainers abroad (France, Italy, Germany) is an integral part of the innovative project.2. The innovative plan has been set up by the school's vocational section, the mobility part defined only after consulting with our partners.3. In case of successful application the school announces the possibility for participation among those interested and motivated for this two year programme and prepares them for it.4. Workgroups to be set up in June, 2016.5. During the project 3 mobilities will take place at the beginning and the end of 2017, beginning of 2018.6. Experiences, work materials, plan of the new curriculum disposed to the members of vocational education. The results will be included in the school's Pedagogical Programme.7. Dissemination period lasting for one more year after finishing the project.
